A Nurse’s Healing Journey with Be Pain Free

My journey to Be Pain Free Global has been a long time manifestation for several years. I have been a cannabis user and advocate for as long as I can remember. It all started with childhood trauma – from seeing my dad physically assault my mom, siblings, and I. My older sister would sneak away and self-medicate, and occasionally allow me to join her as a young girl.

I have been a nurse for twelve years and have continued to use medical marijuana daily. This helped with my anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder from losing my husband and father of two daughters in a tragic car wreck.

I tried many forms of pharmaceuticals to help with anxiety and PTSD, without any success. Sadly, all of them have long lists of side effects, and would cause me to be drowsy and unable to be an active attentive mother to my grieving daughters. After trying Zoloft, Wellbutrin, Lexapro, Xanax, Ativan, and many others without success, I went back to what I knew helped. Cannabis helped me and I did not experience any harmful side effects.  I was suddenly able to eat without feeling nauseated, I was able to play with our daughters and read to them without crying. Over time, I was able to talk to them about their Daddy. I truly believe that without cannabis I very well could have become addicted to alcohol or benzodiazepines which would have changed me as a person, and prevented me from being a good mother or nurse.

I have since continued my journey through the power of meditation, journaling, high intensity workouts, yoga, and manifesting a career that I am truly passionate about. I was offered a position as a nurse supervisor in a procedure room working with ten orthopaedic physicians. At the time that wasn’t the position I had been manifesting but it came with great hours and pay, which was what I needed to raise strong independent little women. I wanted them to see a hard working mother who never gave up. I took the position and soon learned that two of our physicians offered medical cannabis cards to patients. I was highly interested in learning more and soon mustered up enough courage to ask the physician how I could obtain a card myself; I was shocked and thrilled when he said it sounded like I would benefit from having one. I paid $275 for a five minute office visit, and the paperwork was filled out for the state to process my card. 

After six long weeks, I received my card and was back to square one where I couldn’t order or do anything with the card that I worked so hard to manifest and obtain. I went back to the physician who prescribed my card and told him about it. He was annoyed that he had been prescribing cards and not realizing that once patients had them, they still weren’t able to obtain medical grade products. With this upsetting information we then found Be Pain Free Global online. We have been referring patients there for about a year or longer, and have had so many success stories from patients with chronic pain, and most are elderly. I have learned that manifestations come with hoops and bounds but you have to stay passionate and positive about your dreams and about how you want your life to be. Even when it’s not the traditional form of medication, or what society says is good for us, we know our bodies – so why not treat them with something made from our creator GOD, as opposed to a man-made pill?

I know in my heart and soul the incredible benefits of medical cannabis in treating epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, eczema, and the list goes on. It would simply put big pharma out of business.   

It would not only be a dream of mine to help spread the word about Be Pain Free Global, but it would be my life journey that has led me to this exact moment in time.
